North Bengal’s first ever Startup Conference and Showcase event “Startup Rajshahi NORTH BENGAL STARTUP SUMMIT 2023″ which was held on the 28th and 29th of September 2023 at the Sheikh Kamal IT Training & Incubation Center Rajshahi, Bangladesh. The event offered unique opportunities to connect, exchange innovative ideas, explore new pathways, and test the readiness of the North Bengal Startup Community. It also branded Rajshahi and in terms North Bengal as a potential hub of ITES innovation and startups. Aiming to decentralize the current centralized ecosystem of the startup community, it served as a platform for potential investors and ventures to meet and create a long-lasting impact towards our goal of building a smart Bangladesh.
Finalist – Cenno Maestro
Cennovation 2023 organized by IUT

The “Cenno Maestro” competition, a segment of Cennovation 2023 organized by IUT, was a wonderful contest in which contestants pit their remembering skills against one another. There, contestants memorized as much knowledge as they could within a certain time limit. At this level of competition, certain disciplines, such as Cards, Octal numbers, Binary numbers, Names and Faces, and Historical Dates had a particular memorization period and recall time.
Finalist – Digital Khichuri Challenge

Digital Khichuri Challenge is a creative competition by Facebook & UNDP to promote diverse Bangladeshi narratives, and it is supported by Facebook, ICT Division, Startup Bangladesh as well as organized by UNDP. In the Digital Khichuri Challenge 2023 – Rajshahi Cohort, We were Team Light in Dark who intended to design an age-based affiliate marketing campaign targeting individuals aged 15–35 to combat cyberbullying and sexual harassment.
Semi-finalist – Over The Wall Season-2
Organized by Marico Industries Ltd., Bangladesh

“Over The Wall Season -2” was presented by Marico Industries Ltd. that was one of the largest product innovation competitions in Bangladesh. Teams were formed, groundbreaking concepts were brainstormed, and revolutionary ideas were pitched to industry experts by the candidate teams. After the selection, our team “Light in Dark” eventually reached the semi-final round of this competition.
